Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a VIP Lounge Representative for Mandalay Bay. You will greet guests warmly at check-in and help create a seamless, memorable experience from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include managing VIP check-in/out, reconciling guest bills with casino hosts, posting charges, handling payments, and opening/closing the VIP lounge with reports and room assignments. 21+ and prior guest service or concierge experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Prior relevant guest service experience.
Prior relevant Front Desk or Concierge experience is preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Ensure the VIP check-in/out process is efficient and flawless while facilitating an excellent working relationship between the property and the guest.
Resolve guest bills with casino hosts for any additional food, beverages, or show tickets.
Ensure correct charges and credits are posted, collect payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance all cash and cash equivalents.
Open the VIP lounge daily by following department standards, including running Opera reports for guest arrival and departure information, and assigning rooms for VIP arrivals.
Close the VIP lounge daily by following department standards, including ensuring guest rooms are assigned, amenities sent, taking prepared keys to the front desk, running next day arrival reports, and locking the VIP lounge.
