Job summary

Wind Creek Bethlehem is seeking a Bartender - VIP to deliver prompt, accurate beverage service in the VIP lounge for guests and Cocktail Servers - Cas Service. You will maintain compliance with Pennsylvania liquor laws and Wind Creek policies while providing unmatched guest attention.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of upscale beverage experience, a valid RAMP card, strong cash handling and math skills, superb guest service, and the ability to work fast-paced shifts, including

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in beverage service of an upscale and/or high-volume food and beverage service establishment as a bartender.
• Must be able to obtain a Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) card.
• Must possess a general understanding of specialty drinks, wine and fine spirits.
• Must demonstrate superior guest service skills by presenting a friendly, relaxed and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to complete cash transactions accurately and efficiently; basic math skills required.
• Must be able to qualify for, apply for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive for shift on time and in proper uniform.
• Take beverage and food orders and prepare drinks per specifications.
• Provide unmatched service to guests at all times.
• Interact with guests taking drink orders and deliver high quality drinks promptly.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and provide correct change.
• Ensure beverage prep areas comply with Pennsylvania Health Codes.
• Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania liquor laws.
• Provide directions and information about Wind Creek services and events.
• Use equipment safely and follow safety standards.
• Learn PGCB rules and internal controls applicable to the position.
• Complete paperwork per PGCB and Wind Creek standards.
• Read Wind Creek's Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan and enforce rules prohibiting service to minors/intoxicated persons.
• Provide superior customer service to all customers per Wind Creek standards.
• Adhere to department and property policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
