Job summary

Comlux America, a VIP aircraft completion and refurbishment center in Indianapolis, seeks a skilled MRO Structures Technician to assemble, install, modify, and repair aircraft structures and surfaces. You will follow engineering data, manuals, and procedures to deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining accurate records and safety standards.

Under supervision, you’ll collaborate with Structures Lead, Engineering, and Quality teams to support maintenance and completion schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of aircraft structures installation, repair, modification, or fabrication experience.
• Experience with sheet metal and aircraft structural work including drilling, riveting, alignment, fitting, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, maintenance documentation, and technical instructions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural assembly, installation, modification, and repair activities under general supervision.
• Accurately lay out, drill, ream, and prepare holes for riveting and other structural fasteners.
• Install rivets, fasteners, sheet metal, and structural components with calibrated tools.
• Align and assemble structural components using jigs and fixtures.
• Perform structural repairs and modifications per approved data and manuals.
• Read and interpret blueprints and maintenance documentation.
• Inspect completed work for fit, alignment, and compliance.
• Maintain documentation and records for maintenance actions.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and comply with safety requirements.
