Job summary

Comlux America in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a skilled MRO Structures Technician to support VIP aircraft maintenance and completion projects. You will perform assembly, installation, modification, and repair of internal and external aircraft structures in accordance with engineering data and manuals.

Collaborating with Structures Lead, Engineering, and Quality, you will read blueprints, lay out holes, rivet and align components, document work, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of aircraft structures installation, repair, modification, or fabrication experience; VIP aircraft completions preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural assembly, installation, modification, and repair under general supervision.
• Lay out, drill, ream, and prepare holes for riveting and fasteners per data and procedures.
• Install rivets, fasteners, sheet metal, and structural components using calibrated tools.
• Align and assemble components using jigs, fixtures, pins, clamps and fasteners.
• Read blueprints and maintenance data to perform work and verify fit and quality.
• Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with requirements and quality standards.
• Document maintenance records, sign-offs, and records at time of work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow tool control and safety practices.
