Greater Atlanta Christian School (GAC) is seeking a dedicated Violin Instructor to provide private lessons and develop skills in a faith‑infused, college‑style campus. You will tailor instruction to each student’s level, focusing on technique, repertoire, and music theory.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in music (Master’s preferred), several years of teaching experience, and a strong classical background; fluency in English and the ability to communicate with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music from an accredited college or university.
• One or more years teaching musical instrument performance.
• Must be fluent in the instrument and play at a high level.
• Experience teaching diverse students in a private setting is preferred.
• Strong classical background in music.

Responsibilities

• Teach violin private lessons and music theory concepts effectively to students
• Provide 1 on 1 violin lessons, tailored to a student's individual skill level and goals, focusing on technique, repertoire, and music theory to foster comprehensive musical development.
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, or examinations as needed.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and curriculum based on student progress and learning styles.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records for each student
