Greater Atlanta Christian School near Atlanta seeks a Piano Instructor to deliver 1-on-1 piano lessons, teach music theory, and prepare students for recitals and auditions on a collegiate-style campus.

The ideal candidate holds a music degree, has multiple years of performance and teaching experience, and can tailor lessons to diverse abilities while maintaining attendance and progress records. GAC offers a faith-based community and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music from an accredited college/university.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years as a musician and at least one year teaching the instrument.
• Fluent performer of the instrument to be taught.
• Experience teaching students with diverse abilities in a private setting.
• Strong classical background.

Responsibilities

• Teach music theory concepts effectively to students.
• Provide 1 on 1 piano lessons tailored to skill level and goals.
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, or examinations.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and curriculum based on progress and learning styles.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records for each student.
