Job summary

Greater Atlanta Christian School is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to provide private lessons and group instruction at our PreK-12 campus outside Atlanta. You will tailor instruction, prepare students for recitals, and maintain attendance and progress records.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in music (Master's preferred), 1+ year private teaching experience, and fluency in the instrument taught. Background check and faith covenant acknowledgment are part of pre-employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music from an accredited college/university.
• One or more years of experience teaching musical instrument performance.
• Must be a fluent player of the specific instrument taught.
• Experience teaching students with varied abilities in private settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach music theory concepts effectively to students.
• Provide one-on-one lessons tailored to skill level and musical interests.
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, or examinations.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and curriculum based on student progress.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records for each student.
