Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team in Dalton, PA is seeking a Production Operator to set up, operate, and tend machines that cut and punch vinyl profiles, as well as assemble vinyl products. This role reports to the manufacturing team and offers a consistent Mon–Fri schedule from 7am to 3:30pm with an $18.00 per hour wage.

Primary responsibilities include operating machinery, inspecting materials for quality, and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
• Knowledge of Production Procedures.
• Analytical skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must take direction on the fly.
• Physical requirements: prolonged standing or walking; able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in the production process.
• Examine raw material pieces to ensure quality standards.
• Notify production supervisors and QA inspectors when materials are defective.
• Observe equipment operations and report malfunctions.
• Lift raw materials and assemble hardware to cut pieces; place finished items in order.
• Count finished items to determine if orders are complete.
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
• Load and unload items from carts.
• Clean work areas and equipment daily.
• Follow Safety guidelines and procedures.
• This position will be as needed and subject to change depending on workload.
