Job summary

Kerry Vinegar, part of Kerry Group, seeks a Process Engineer to optimize and maintain vinegar production, lead safety initiatives, and drive process improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include training operators, executing capital projects up to $500k, and collaborating with maintenance and SAP teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Leadership and self-motivation with ability to work independently.
• AutoCAD and P&ID drawing experience.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership in safety and environment, with compliance to Quality & Food Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize chemical and technical aspects of vinegar production on site.
• Establish and perform training programs to improve operator skills and knowledge.
• Lead capital improvement projects up to $500,000 at the plant level.
• Create and maintain Plant P&ID drawings within the vinegar network.
• Lead process improvement projects related to vinegar production and efficiency.
• Assist in SAP documentation and training as required.
• Troubleshoot production to reduce losses due to contamination and equipment issues.
• Participate in process and equipment risk assessments for safer design.
• Coordinate with maintenance on equipment modernization and improvements.
• Assist in other plant production-related functions such as sampling and testing.
