About the role Kerry Vinegar is seeking a Process Engineer. Join us in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. Embrace the role and drive operational excellence to optimize, troubleshoot and maintain existing equipment, utilities, process control systems and bacterial colony growth and health. Manage process improvement and operator training programs associated with all vinegar production processes. Develop, monitor and continuously improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality and safety.

Monitor and optimize the chemical and technical aspects of all vinegar production on site.

Bachelor’s of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
2+ years in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb catwalk stairs to access process equipment and computer interface points, lift loads up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work in areas that could have vinegar fumes/odors.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. The position frequently requires the ability to hear and to communicate verbally.
The pay range for this position is $77,000 - $109,050 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
