Job summary

Mizkan America in Green Bay, WI seeks a Vinegar Processor Operator I to join our production team at the plant. The role focuses on producing and moving liquid mixes safely using pumps, hoses and piping to meet schedules; back-up Sanitation as needed; no direct reports.

You will follow GMP, SOP and safety policies, complete production reports and COAs, and work in high temperatures with PPE. Required: high school diploma; forklift preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, OSHA and GMP/SOP.
• Review production schedule and determine vinegar to produce.
• Assist startup, prepare equipment and materials, monitor processes.
• Conduct periodic tank and equipment inspections.
• Assist with troubleshooting and communicate issues to the right personnel.
• Record production data and certificates of analysis.
• Monitor inventories and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow cleaning procedures for tanks and equipment.
• Ensure food safety and quality throughout the process.
