Job summary

rapportintl is seeking qualified interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our Nebraska clients in the Lincoln area. We value bilingual professionals who can help non-English speakers access services with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

This independent contractor role is PRN/part-time with flexible hours. You must have transportation to attend appointments and be available weekdays 7am–5pm when services are typically needed.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and another language.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Confidentiality/HIPAA compliance.
• In-person interpretation only; transportation required.
• Printer access and ability to print/upload vouchers.
• Background checks and drug screens required.
• Experience or certification in interpretation preferred.
• Independent contractor; hours vary; some weekday availability 7am–5pm.

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. We have an immediate need for Vietnamese interpreters in the Lincoln area.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
