Job summary

Rapport International in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation with flexible PRN hours. This is an independent contractor role with availability typically required M-F 7 AM–5 PM.

Candidates must be fully bilingual, able to learn and use our online portal, and provide vaccination proof or exemption documentation prior to interview. We require transportation to attend local appointments and access to a printer.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual with strong communication and listening skills.

• In-person interpretation only; must have reliable transportation.
• Access to a printer and ability to use an online portal.
• Prior interpreting experience or certification preferred.

• PRN schedule, part time or less; availability M–F 7:00–17:00.

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Requirements

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
