Student Worker - Videographer Intern (Marketing and Communications)

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

This student will support Ohio Wesleyan University’s Marketing & Communications team by developing and producing video content that tells the OWU story. The intern will capture and edit videos for use in social media, and admission marketing, helping prospective students, alumni, and the wider community connect with the university.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Film high-quality, compelling video stories featuring OWU students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

• Help manage OWU’s YouTube content.
• Brainstorm creative content ideas in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.

• Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
• Understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio (training provided if needed).

• Good communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively.
