Job summary

Illinois Wesleyan University seeks a skilled Videographer/Photographer to develop visual storytelling across university channels. You will plan basic productions, film on campus, edit, and deliver content for the website, digital ads, and social media, ensuring brand standards.

This on‑campus, full‑time role requires occasional night and weekend work, experience with Sony cameras and Adobe Creative Suite, and ability to coordinate with students and departments to capture compelling stories.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field of videography, digital art, broadcasting, film or equivalent.
Minimum of three years' relevant experience in videography, lighting, and editing using Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of Sony equipment and ability to manage a content library; understanding of IP/copyright best practices.
Experience with drone videography and set lighting arrangements.

Responsibilities

Capture and produce video content in advertising, documentary and planned giving styles; shoot and edit high-quality footage.
Develop concepts, storyboards/shotlists; manage projects from pre-production to final delivery.
Maintain and troubleshoot camera equipment, lighting and audio; create motion graphics.
Coordinate schedules and logistics for project assignments.
