We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead and oversee the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of multimedia projects within our fast-paced video production team. The ideal candidate will manage the full production workflow—from project intake to delivery—ensuring resources are properly allocated, deadlines are met, and budgets are tracked accurately.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support a team of creative professionals including videographers, editors, animators, and graphic designers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule all video production projects from concept through delivery.
  • Assign creative staff to projects based on availability, skillset, and project scope.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain and update project tracking tools, including dashboards and databases.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, hours worked, and resource utilization.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts in scheduling and workload distribution.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all creative products that meet quality standards.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and customers.
  • Assist with implementing process improvements to increase team efficiency and scalability.
  • Support budget tracking for each project, including forecasting and actual cost analysis.
  • Maintain production calendars, timelines, and internal workflows.
  • Facilitate team stand-ups, production meetings, and post-project reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in video production or multimedia project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with production tools and software..
  • Experience managing creative teams and working cross-functionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Desired Skills:
  • PMP, Agile/Scrum, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience working within government contracting or secure environments.
  • Understanding of media post-production workflows including animation, captioning, and audio mastering.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) tools.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of time-tracking tools and cost estimation in creative services.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
