JOB SUMMARY

Deal with any mechanical issues at the OTB properties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Tote (Pari-Mutuel) Equipment
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair computer network and related networking equipment.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair PC workstations, servers and other computer related equipment.
• Have a good knowledge of the Windows Operating System and basic computer networking

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Must be able to obtain a Video Poker Employee Permit from the Louisiana State Police and a Racing License from Louisiana State Racing Commission.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Office/Casino environment; Subject to outdoor temperature; Exposed to smoke, bright lights and noise at times. Will occasionally work in extreme heat or cold conditions. Will also occasionally work in confined space, such as attics.
