Job summary

Ateme in Denver, CO seeks an IT & Lab Infrastructure Engineer to operate and enhance our IT and engineering lab environment. You will manage Linux/Windows systems, virtualization, SDI routing, and lab automation while coordinating with IT, Engineering, and Cybersecurity teams.

You will design automation scripts, improve monitoring, and ensure reliable lab infrastructure for testing, validation, and demonstrations in a fast-paced, international setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field (CS, Engineering, IT) is required.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, servers, and virtualization.
• Exposure to video delivery, broadcast, streaming, media tech, or telecom is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, Bash, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes or similar tech is a plus.
• Hands-on, proactive, organized, and able to troubleshoot autonomously in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems and network equipment.
• Administer switches, WiFi, WAN, VLANs, routing, and connectivity.
• Manage firewall rules and access control in coordination with IT & Cybersecurity teams.
• Monitor infrastructure availability and troubleshoot incidents.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and inventories.
• Participate in hardware lifecycle, upgrades, and capacity planning.
• Operate and maintain Denver engineering lab; manage servers, racks, storage, virtualization.
• Develop automation scripts to improve IT and lab operations.
• Ensure lab systems are organized, reliable, and available for testing and demonstrations.
