Job summary

AVANT Communications is seeking a Graphic Design and Video Specialist to join our Chicago marketing team. The role focuses on producing educational video content for AVANT Academy, managing shoots, editing, and delivering branded assets.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and able to juggle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. Office-based with 1–3 days on-site per week, temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video development, editing and design.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with motion graphics and basic 3D or AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule in-person recordings with education team and vendors.
• Manage video shoots in studio or on location, set up equipment.
• Edit and assemble video content in Premiere Pro/After Effects.
• Maintain high video quality and optimize for YouTube, social, and internal use.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Organize assets, backups, and maintain a searchable video library.
• Distribute footage and graphics to team and contractors as needed.
• Stay current with video editing trends and best practices.
• Assist with motion graphics and effects as required.
