Job summary

AVANT Communications in Chicago seeks a temp-to-hire Graphic Design and Video Specialist to join our marketing team. You’ll lead production of educational content for AVANT Academy, coordinating with Education and Marketing teams and external vendors.

Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills and detail orientation are essential. The role requires hands-on video shoots, editing, and asset management, with office-based work 1–3 days per week in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video development, editing, and design using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with recording, lighting, and on-location shoots is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules in-person recordings with education team and sponsors.
• Manages video shoots in the studio and on location; sets up cameras, lighting, mics, greenscreen and teleprompter.
• Edits and assembles video content, including raw footage, audio, graphics, and animation.
• Optimizes video content for YouTube, Vimeo, and social platforms.
• Ensures content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and objectives.
