Peregrine Technologies is seeking an exceptional Video Editor to join our growing creative team in San Francisco and help bring our customers, products, culture and mission to life through thoughtful, human-centered storytelling.

You’ll lead projects through the post-production process—from finding the story within hours of unscripted footage to delivering polished videos across customer stories, product launches, brand films, events, and social content.

Qualifications

• Significant professional editing experience across documentary, branded, or editorial content.
• Portfolio demonstrating storytelling, editorial judgment, and craft.
• Expert proficiency in Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve.
• Mastery of post-production from ingest to final delivery.
• Strong narrative instincts and pacing with strong color and sound sense.
• Knowledge of platform-specific formats and export workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit documentary-style customer stories, brand films, employee profiles, and product content from raw footage to final delivery.
• Build clear, emotionally engaging narratives from interviews, vérité footage, b-roll, and transcripts.
• Shape pacing, music, sound, and color to support the story.
• Own the complete post-production process including ingest, media organization, editing, graphics, and delivery.
• Create polished titles, lower thirds, end cards, and motion graphics.
• Cut-down hero edits into platform-specific versions across social and paid media.
• Identify moments beyond the primary deliverable for additional content opportunities.
• Evolve Peregrine’s visual language and scalable post-production workflows.
• Collaborate with filmmakers, marketers, cross-functional teams, and leadership.
• Manage multiple projects with prioritization and communication.
