You'll edit documentary-style pieces, brand spots, narrative projects, and commercials, working closely with directors, producers, and clients. You'll own the edit from assembly through finishing, bringing a strong sense of story, pacing, and rhythm to every project.
Edit across documentary, brand, narrative, and commercial formats.
Work with directors and producers from the first assembly through final delivery.
Incorporate feedback, explore new approaches, and maintain quality under deadlines.
Present work to clients and translate their notes into clear editorial decisions.
Own finishing through color and sound, collaborating with VFX artists when needed.
Maintain organized project files, media, and delivery assets.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of editing work.
Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
Ability to complete a paid test edit.
Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate.
Degrees not required. Your work speaks for itself.
A strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and emotional storytelling.
