Story Co is hiring a Video Editor to shape footage into compelling films across client work. You will edit documentary-style pieces, brand spots, narrative projects, and commercials, owning the edit from assembly through finishing with strong story, pacing, and rhythm.

The role requires a diverse editing portfolio and proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, plus the ability to complete a paid test edit. Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate, degrees are not required; your work speaks for

Your Story

We're hiring a Video Editor to shape footage into compelling films across Story's client work. You'll edit documentary-style pieces, brand spots, narrative projects, and commercials, working closely with directors, producers, and clients. You'll own the edit from assembly through finishing, bringing a strong sense of story, pacing, and rhythm to every project.

• Work with directors and producers from the first assembly through final delivery.
• Incorporate feedback, explore new approaches, and maintain quality under deadlines.
• Present work to clients and translate their notes into clear editorial decisions.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of editing work.
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to complete a paid test edit.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Your final offer will depend on your experience, skills and level.
