As the Video Editor and Production Coordinator, you'll support the VP and Manager of Production and Development for KIDZ BOP in all day-to-day items for video production and creative for the KIDZ BOP brand as well as Lullapop, Cooltime, and Laurie Berkner.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Edit videos for socials, live tour production, marketing, music, etc. (20%)
  • Coordinate all KIDZ BOP video shoots globally. (20%)
  • Update and manage the KIDZ BOP Video Archive, team servers, production requests, and outside partner video delivery. (15%)
  • Capture social media content (20%)
  • Budget creation and tracking (5%)
  • Assist the Video Editing & Production Associate on all video productions for the label’s Lullapop and Cooltime brands. (15%)
  • Additional KIDZ BOP Brand Maintenance (5%)

Outline of Specific Functions:

  • Edit videos for socials, live tour production, and creative for KIDZ BOP
    • Experience in the Creative Cloud Suite including working knowledge of Premiere and After Effects
    • Coordinate edit calendars and priorities on in-house edits
  • Coordinate all KIDZ BOP video shoots globally (approximately 8 productions annually)
    • Assist in hiring freelance crews for local and remote productions.
    • Manage call sheets & scheduling.
    • Assist in booking travel.
    • Assist booking equipment.
    • Work with outside production companies to ensure successful shoots.
    • Production assist on set and during rehearsals
  • Update and manage the KIDZ BOP Video Archive, team servers, production requests, and video delivery to outside partners
    • Oversee and manage production servers
    • Organize and document all video files in the KIDZ BOP Video Archive
    • Manage production requests for all videos and upcoming shoots
    • Manage video delivery to outside partners (SKY, SVOD services, etc.)
  • Capture Social Media Content
    • Capture on-the-go content on set and during other scheduled social media days
    • Work with the Director of Social Media to create social media calendar
    • Collaborate with the brand and marketing team to ensure content aligns with marketing goals
  • Budget creation and tracking
    • Excel budget creation and tracking
    • Submit and organize all invoicing for department.
    • Manage department p-card expenses
  • Additional KB Brand Maintenance
    • Check the YouTube page daily for layout of content
    • Ensure all video assets are properly logged
    • Assist with wardrobe
Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Understanding and experience with video production from pre-production to post-production.
  • Basic knowledge of camera operation, including understanding lighting and composition.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Self-starter and extremely organized.
  • Ability to multitask and extremely detail-oriented.
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and execute them efficiently.
  • Proficiency in the Creative Cloud Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Experience with content management and organization.

Salary Range: $48,000 - 55,000

*This job is hybrid- requiring 3 days a week minimum on site.
