Job summary

Citi's US in‑house creative agency seeks an experienced Video Design Lead to oversee art direction for video advertising across digital and DOOH campaigns. You will guide a team through motion graphics and live‑action projects, collaborating with senior leaders to shape strategy and ensure brand integrity.

The role emphasizes production coordination, accessibility compliance, and cross‑functional partnership with internal clients and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in design with motion graphics and live‑action production.
• Agency experience or in‑house agency background is a plus.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud especially After Effects, Premiere Pro and Audition.
• Experience with Cinema 4D and 3D motion design.
• Strong design fundamentals: typography, color theory, brand adherence and critical thinking.
• Experience with ADA compliance in marketing collateral.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to discuss projects clearly with senior leaders.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate with local and remote team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team through art direction for multimedia projects (storyboards, social posts, DOOH, reels, demos).
• Collaborate with Creative Director to analyze performance data and brainstorm strategies.
• Facilitate concepting sessions to generate fresh, engaging work.
• Oversee live‑action production coordination (location, gear, talent, budget, on‑set staff).
• Act as SME on social platforms, translating trends into actionable strategies.
• Participate in kickoffs, reviews and client presentations to inspire confidence.
• Present to senior leadership, articulating strategic impact of creative work.
• Ensure ADA guidelines are implemented in deliverables (descriptions, transcripts, captions).
• Assess risk in decisions with emphasis on firm reputation and compliance.
