Job summary

HireArt is assisting a leading AI technology company in Texas to hire a Data Capture Technician. This field-based, part-time position involves collecting site data on active construction sites using 360-degree cameras and surveying tools.

You will work one half-day per week (Fridays), 5-6 hours, primarily in Turkey, TX, with training provided. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, photography, civil engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Expected compensation: 19.00 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping a leading AI technology company find a Data Capture Technician to support reality capture efforts on active construction sites in Texas.

In this role, you will operate reality capture equipment such as 360-degree cameras and surveying tools to collect detailed site data used for algorithmic and AI-driven analysis.

This is a part-time, field-based role requiring one half day per week, 5-6 hours in and around Turkey, TX

We're looking for candidates who are able to start immediately.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on fieldwork. You are comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites and using technology to collect accurate, high-quality data. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, photography, civil engineering, and college students are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Must be available on Fridays to work one half day per week, 5-6 hours in and around Turkey, TX
• Comfort working on active construction sites and in varying outdoor conditions
• A strong work ethic and a dependable, responsible approach to fieldwork
• The ability to walk long distances and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Clear communication skills and a strong commitment to safety, including adherence to site-specific and client-specific protocols
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently to solve problems

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in construction, surveying, civil engineering, or related fields
• Previous field-based or site-based work experience
• Technical aptitude or familiarity with field equipment

Commitment

This is a part-time, 1-year contract position (with the possibility of extension) staffed via HireArt. It is available to candidates who are local to the Turkey, TX area.
