Job summary

HireArt is seeking a Data Capture Technician for a leading AI solutions company. This part-time, field-based role collects site data on active construction sites in Texas using reality capture tools and cameras, with a Friday half-day schedule around Turkey, TX.

Ideal candidates have construction, surveying, or civil engineering backgrounds, strong safety discipline, and comfort working outdoors. The role runs for 1 year with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Available on Fridays for a half-day, 5–6 hours in/around Turkey, TX.
• Experience in construction, surveying, civil engineering, or related fields.
• Previous field-based or site-based work experience.
• Technical aptitude or familiarity with field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360-degree cameras and other reality capture equipment on construction sites.
• Capture comprehensive site data using established tools and methodologies.
• Document and clearly communicate on-site progress to the project team.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure personal safety and protect personnel and equipment.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet project-specific requirements.
• Work on large-scale construction sites throughout Texas.
