Job summary

Flockx seeks a part-time, seasonal Junior Video Creator & Editor to join a fully remote team. You will transform scripts and storyboards into polished short-form videos for social media using AI video tools and editors.

You will generate AI footage, experiment with shots, edit clips, and iterate quickly based on feedback, supporting local businesses across U.S. time zones.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience creating AI-generated video using Veo, Sora, Kling, Runway or similar tools through academic projects, personal work or freelance engagements.
• Proficient video editing with software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalents.
• A portfolio/showreel demonstrating video creation and editing capabilities.
• Strong visual sense with composition, framing, and storytelling.
• Organized, reliable, and capable of remote work with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Generate AI video and image assets using platforms like Veo, Sora, Seedance, Kling, Runway and similar tools.
• Create shots from scripts, storyboards and creative direction.
• Experiment with camera angles, movement, composition and visual styles to enhance storytelling.
• Select and refine strongest AI-generated content ensuring visual consistency.
• Edit footage into engaging short-form commercials and social media content with pacing and sound.
• Deliver final videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube.
• Maintain organized project files and assets for reuse.
• Collaborate asynchronously with remote teammates and participate in weekly check-ins.

About The Role

We are seeking a part-time, seasonal Junior Video Creator & Editor to join our creative team. This role focuses on producing commercial video content using the latest AI video generation and editing tools. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on and ready to contribute from day one by transforming scripts, concepts, and storyboards into polished short‑form content tailored for social media and marketing channels. Responsibilities include generating AI footage, experimenting with shots and styles, editing clips, and iterating quickly based on feedback. This position offers the opportunity to work asynchronously within a fully remote team across U.S. time zones and to contribute meaningfully to projects that support local businesses.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience creating AI‑generated video using tools such as Veo, Sora, Kling, Runway, or similar platforms through academic projects, personal work, or freelance engagements.
• Proficient video editing skills with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalents.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video creation and editing capabilities.
• Strong visual sensibility including composition, framing, and storytelling through video.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in visuals and product presentation.
• Organized, reliable, and capable of managing time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Clear and proactive communication skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions and share work in progress.
• Comfortable receiving and applying creative feedback.
• Passion for supporting local businesses and understanding their unique marketing needs.
• Educational background in Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Media Arts, Motion Design, Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), or Graphic Design is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with After Effects, motion graphics, photography, color grading, sound design, social media content creation, and multiple AI video platforms is a plus.
