Magic is seeking an AI Video Editor to produce high-quality AI-generated short-form videos. You will follow scripts, references, and creative guidelines to deliver content that aligns with the team’s standards and examples.

The role requires strong English comprehension, sharp visual judgment, and reliable attendance. Work is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time, with about eight 60-second videos daily using tools like Kling, Seedance, Nano Banana Pro, and ElevenLabs.

Responsibilities

• Create approximately 8 short-form videos per day, typically around 60 seconds each (plus or minus 30 seconds).
• Generate videos and images using tools such as Kling, Seedance, Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT Images, Kling, and Seedance.
• Use ElevenLabs and other AI tools for voiceovers or supporting content when needed.
• Recreate video concepts based on provided examples, scripts, references, and detailed instructions.
• Follow the required visual style, brand guidelines, and creative direction.
• Apply feedback and make adjustments to improve quality and consistency.
• Deliver assigned videos consistently and on schedule.
• Maintain high production quality while meeting daily output expectations.
• Organize files, versions, and deliverables so work is easy to review.
• Communicate proactively and ask questions when instructions are unclear.
• Participate in team check-ins and video meetings with camera on.

The AI Video Editor produces high-quality AI-generated short-form videos and visual content by following provided scripts, references, and creative guidelines. The goal is to consistently deliver engaging content that closely matches the examples and standards set by the team. This role exists to keep daily production on target while maintaining quality as output scales.

The Impact you’ll make

AI Video Image Creation

• Create approximately 8 short-form videos per day, typically around 60 seconds each (plus or minus 30 seconds)
• Generate videos and images using tools such as Google Flow Studio, OmniFlash, Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT Images, Kling, and Seedance
• Use ElevenLabs and other AI tools for voiceovers or supporting content when needed

Creative Briefs Replication

• Recreate video concepts based on provided examples, scripts, references, and detailed instructions
• Follow the required visual style, brand guidelines, and creative direction
• Apply feedback and make adjustments to improve quality and consistency

Daily Production Deadlines

• Deliver assigned videos consistently and on schedule
• Maintain high production quality while meeting daily output expectations
• Organize files, versions, and deliverables so work is easy to review

Team Communication Collaboration

• Communicate proactively and ask questions when instructions are unclear
• Participate in team check-ins and video meetings with camera on
• Learn the team’s workflows, tools, content styles, and expectations using provided guides, scripts, and reference video

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

• Experience creating AI-generated videos and images, or demonstrated proficiency with relevant AI tools
• Strong English comprehension to understand scripts, instructions, and visual references
• Good visual judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize high-quality content
• Reliable attendance, consistency, and accountability, with willingness to join video meetings with the camera on
• Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time

• Technical

  • Writing clear prompts and iterating until the output matches a reference

WFH Set-Up:

• Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
• Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
• Back-up computer and internet connection
• Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
