Job summary

Superside is seeking a craft-focused, creatively driven Video Editor to elevate our video production. The role emphasizes fast turnaround, high-quality output, and collaborative teamwork in a remote-first environment.

You will own the editing pipeline from ingest to final delivery, work with cross-functional teams, and produce engaging short-form content optimized for digital channels while pushing storytelling boundaries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-quality video editing (on-set experience preferred).
• Showreel demonstrating storytelling and editing across formats.
• Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects a plus).
• Strong understanding of content specs and exports for digital/social platforms.
• Strong narrative structure, pacing, and emotional storytelling.
• Highly organized with excellent file management and version control.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude to improve process and output.
• Bonus: Animation/After Effects, Copywriting, AI, Motion Graphics.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 2+ years of experience creating high-quality editing preferably with any on-set experience.
• Proven ability to create high-impact short-form video content, with a strong showreel showcasing storytelling and editing skills.
• Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud tools (After Effects a plus).
• Excellent understanding of content specs, exports, and best practices across digital and social platforms.
• Strong grasp of narrative structure, pacing, and emotional storytelling.
• Highly organized, with excellent file management and version control habits.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, adapt quickly to feedback, and deliver exceptional work under tight deadlines.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and passion for improving both process and creative output.
