About The Role

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Video Content Creator specializing in short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to build and lead our video strategy from the ground up, beginning with our new ‘Foundations in AI’ courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive video creation pipeline and producing a high volume of engaging, educational, and entertaining videos that resonate with high school students.

Your content will aim to make complex AI concepts and prompt engineering accessible and exciting, fostering student engagement and learning. You will collaborate closely with our Product and Curriculum teams to translate learning objectives into compelling visual narratives. The role also involves overseeing additional contracted influencers and video creators to scale content production while maintaining quality and brand consistency. This position offers a chance to leverage your storytelling talents to make a meaningful impact on education and inspire future innovators.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating successful short-form video content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Proficiency in video production, including ideation, scripting, filming (mobile or professional camera), lighting, audio recording, and editing using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Deep understanding of youth online culture, current social media trends, and content that resonates with high school audiences
• Creative storytelling skills, capable of translating educational or complex topics into engaging short videos
• Experience or aptitude in building and managing content creation workflows and pipelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Genuine passion for education and empowering students with future-ready skills
• Desire for a stable, full-time employment role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating educational content aimed at youth audiences
• Basic understanding or interest in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, or prompt engineering concepts
• Experience with Python or other programming languages is advantageous but not mandatory
• Experience managing or collaborating with other content creators or influencers
• Skills in graphic design or animation to enhance video content

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, script, shoot, edit, and publish a high volume of engaging short-form videos targeting high school students for our educational platform
• Design, implement, and oversee an efficient video creation pipeline to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality content
• Collaborate closely with Product and Curriculum teams to understand learning objectives, develop video concepts, and ensure content accuracy and educational value
• Stay updated on current video trends, emerging formats, and youth online behavior to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging
• Develop and maintain a consistent, engaging, and youth-friendly brand voice and visual style across all video content aligning with TechSmart’s mission
• Organize and manage a library of video assets for easy access and reuse
• Oversee and manage additional contracted video creators or influencers to scale content production while maintaining quality standards and brand consistency
