Job summary

Oklahoma District Attorneys Council is seeking a Victims Services Assistant in Oklahoma City. Under the Victims Division Director, you will provide administrative support for the Victims Compensation and VOCA Assistance programs at the Victim Services Division.

The role requires excellent communication, confidentiality, and crisis-handling abilities, with an emphasis on empathy for victims of violent crime. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, claims status, and supporting system users.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, though substantial relevant experience may substitute.
• Two years in an office environment is required.
• Experience in dealing with victims of crime and crisis situations is valuable.
• Must maintain confidentiality and manage stress effectively.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls for the Victims division and route as needed.
• Provide information about victims' compensation and assistance programs.
• Assist staff with claim status and portal procedures.
• Support the OK VCPMS claims management system users.
• Maintain logs, update addresses, and handle mail and deposits.
• Assist with filing, monthly activity logs, and reports.
