County Of Redwood is seeking an experienced Victim Advocate at the Redwood County Justice Center in Redwood Falls, MN. The role involves coordinating victim advocacy services, crisis intervention, and support for victims within the court system.

Responsibilities include assisting with orders, coordinating travel and lodging for victims, and developing training materials for the community and professionals. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and knowledge of Minnesota statutes are required.

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with crime victims is preferred.
• Knowledge of criminal procedure and statutes related to victims' rights is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advocacy services to victims and coordinate services per grant requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to meet timelines and guidelines.
• Assist victims with court processes, protective orders, and related proceedings.
• Coordinate with social services, law enforcement, and the court system to support victims.
• Develop and deliver community education and training on victims' rights and services.
