Rural-Resources is seeking a Mobile Victim Advocate to provide mobile advocacy across Lincoln, Stevens, and Ferry Counties. You will deliver crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, crimes, and child abuse, coordinating with services and legal resources.

The role requires travel, office-base flexibility, intake work, safety planning, and ongoing client support to improve safety and stability within the community.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of the impact of crimes on victims including dynamics of DV, sexual abuse, child abuse, and trauma.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and advocacy principles.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to analyze needs and provide flexible, compassionate responses.
• Effective written and verbal communication with staff and clients.
• Knowledge of criminal and civil judicial procedures in state courts.
• Familiarity with state laws and regulations related to crimes.
• Strong writing and speaking skills; clear program policy explanations.
• Ability to build relationships with staff, partners and the public.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and use computer software.

Aufgaben

• Travel to provide mobile advocacy across the service area, often on short notice.
• Based in one or more office locations; travel to meet clients as needed.
• Complete initial intake to assess eligibility for services.
• Identify client goals and arrange referrals to reduce barriers.
• Provide long-term case management to support safety, health and stability.
• Advise clients of legal rights and connect with legal resources; assist with protective orders.
• Support clients at court hearings and provide updates on proceedings.
