Job summary

Vori Health Inc. seeks a dynamic Vice President of VBC Analytics and Medical Economics to lead analytics and economics within value-based care. A credentialed actuary with healthcare analytics background will drive models informing strategic decisions.

You will oversee risk adjustment, cost management, and quality improvement initiatives, partnering with sales, clients, and cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable strategies and measurable financial impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Credentialed actuary (FSA/ASA) preferred with healthcare analytics experience.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics strategies to support value-based care initiatives, including risk adjustment, cost management, and quality improvement.
  • Oversee medical economics analytics for clients and vendors, providing insights on trends, performance metrics, and financial projections for VBC programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into operational practices and align with organizational goals.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of VBC Analytics and Medical Economics to lead our analytics and medical economics initiatives within the value-based care framework. The ideal candidate will be a credentialed actuary with a robust healthcare background, possessing a deep understanding of VBC principles and methodologies. This strategic leader will drive the development and implementation of analytical models that inform decision-making and enhance our VBC strategies.

What You’ll Do :

Essential Functions:

Lead the development and execution of analytics strategies to support value-based care initiatives, including risk adjustment, cost management, and quality improvement.

Oversee the medical economics analytics with clients and vendors , providing insights and analysis on trends, performance metrics, and financial projections related to VBC programs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into operational practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Make data-driven recommendations to identify opportunities for improved patient targeting and engagement to drive clinical outcomes .

Design and implement actuarial models for payor clients to evaluate the financial impact of VBC contracts and alternative payment models.

Support sales and client success efforts, effectively communicating company’s financial value and responding to sophisticated actuarial, ROI/performance guarantee, and methodology questions.

Communicate complex analytical findings to executive leadership and external partners in a clear and actionable manner.

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in VBC and healthcare analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Who You Are :

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science , Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in value-based care models and a strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems.

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in analytical tools and software, including data visualization and statistical analysis tools.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Credentialed actuary (FSA, ASA, or equivalent) with substantial experience in healthcare analytics and medical economics.

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.
