Job summary

BlackRock, Inc. in Princeton, NJ seeks an Associate to join the Technology Risk & Controls function within the Aladdin Product Engineering COO Team.

You will help identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks in Aladdin software delivery, collaborating across engineering, platform, and risk functions to uphold security, compliance, and operational excellence. The role emphasizes risk assessments, developing remediation plans, reporting, and contributing to ongoing technology control

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in technology risk management, IT audit, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong understanding of IT domains including SDLC, information security, operating systems, cloud platforms, encryption, and IAM.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, including planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive remediation efforts.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technology risk assessments to identify control gaps and improvement areas.
• Develop actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and align with policies and standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance and oversight.
• Prepare and present reports on risks and remediation strategies.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and strengthen the technology control environment.
• Support adoption of technology policies across acquisitions and operations.
