Ally Financial is seeking a Technology Risk and Controls Assurance professional to execute key testing, issue validation, and risk reporting for the Technology Business Line Testing team. You will collaborate with Ally Technology and Cyber leadership, IPRM, and business units to assess technology and cybersecurity risk, interpret data, and drive control remediation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in audit, assurance, or equivalent line of service; technology/cyber focus preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of technology control frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, NIST SP800-53, CRI Profile).
• Relevant certification (CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CPA) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized.
• Desire to creatively identify problems and provide solutions/recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work with structured datasets and dashboards (Excel/Power BI) to interpret testing results.
• Proven ability to excel in highly interactive team environment.
• Working knowledge of GRC Platform (e.g., Archer) and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Ally Technology and Cyber Leaders across functions while conducting control tests.
• Develop, complete, and document tests per Ally policies and industry best practices.
• Interpret data outputs to identify anomalies and advise management on control practices.
• Contribute to uplift initiatives and continuous improvement of control operations.
• Identify emerging risks and stay informed on risk trends and mitigation practices.
• Complete validated findings and manage issues with quality per Ally standards.
• Provide coaching and support to team members and contractors.
• Apply cybersecurity risk assessment practices in control testing.
