Job summary

Upstate Coin & Gold is seeking a deeply technical, commercially minded technology leader to shape growth. You will build systems, capabilities, and teams that keep us ahead in the precious metals space, accelerating product development and scalable operations.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead a 15–20 person tech organization, own PlatformGold®, cloud, data, AI, integrations, and IT. This in-office role is centered at Centennial HQ with occasional travel to Fayetteville, NY and other locations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive technical experience
• 5+ years of increasing leadership responsibility
• Lead a 15–20 person multidisciplinary technology team
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering, AWS, APIs, databases, CI/CD, security

Responsibilities

• Provide depth in architecture, code, cloud infra, APIs, and data while guiding engineers
• Drive business value, budgets, capacity, and delivery priorities
• Build and coach a high-performing technology team with succession planning
• Own PlatformGold APIs, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and IT operations
