Job summary

Coopman Search and Selection | B Corp™ is seeking a Vice President, Asset Management – Technical for an aircraft leasing platform. The role combines technical asset management, data governance of aircraft and engine records, and the development of systems to support the full asset lifecycle.

You will oversee data quality, lead cross‑functional teams, mentor colleagues, and partner with IT to improve workflows, reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience within aviation technical teams or related field.
• Functional understanding of aircraft technical records and maintenance practices.
• Strong data management skills with experience delivering large-scale technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aircraft and engine configuration data and coordinate onboarding of new assets.
• Manage records across the asset lifecycle including acquisitions and end-of-life updates.
• Progress Maintenance Reserve (MR) claims through review and approval.
• Manage audit schedules and ensure timely, budget-conscious audits.
• Collaborate with IT and external providers to improve data workflows and reporting.
• Enhance access to technical information for portfolio analysis and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare maintenance fly-forward reports and cash flow models.
• Support engine forecast reports and technical issue monitoring.
• Assist remarketing and trading activities with accurate specifications.
• Lead technical projects and mentor colleagues.
