Job summary

GKR Search and Selection is seeking a seasoned professional to take ownership of technical asset management for an aircraft leasing portfolio. You will oversee data, records, and configuration across aircraft and engines, while leading a team and coordinating with leasing and remarketing activities.

The role covers maintenance forecasting, audits, and reporting analytics to improve access to accurate technical information.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in aircraft lessor technical function, consultancy, or airline tech.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft technical records and maintenance practices.
• Advanced Excel with experience in technical records or asset management systems.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of technical asset management across an aircraft leasing portfolio, combining data oversight, records management, maintenance forecasting and team leadership. The role offers broad involvement across the asset lifecycle, including acquisition, leasing and sale activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical asset data, records and configuration management across aircraft and engines.
• Oversee maintenance forecasting, cash-flow modelling, technical audits and maintenance reserve activity.
• Develop reporting and analytics that improve access to accurate technical information.
• Coordinate asset updates and technical information supporting leasing, trading and remarketing activity.
• Manage audit planning, fleet issue monitoring and technical support processes.

Requirements

• At least seven years’ experience within an aircraft lessor technical function, technical management consultancy or airline technical department.
• Strong understanding of aircraft technical records and maintenance practices.
• Advanced Excel capability, with experience using technical records or asset management systems advantageous.
• Proven people leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving capability.
