Job summary

Confidential in Miami seeks a Vice President – Technical to lead the technical management of the aircraft leasing portfolio, ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and optimal asset value throughout its lifecycle.

You will oversee engine acquisitions, due diligence, maintenance oversight, and asset remarketing, collaborating with Commercial, Legal, Finance, Risk, and Asset Management to protect value and drive portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial aircraft engines, maintenance programs, shop visit processes, and LLPs.
• Experience leading engine lease transitions, due diligence, redeliveries, and lease return conditions.
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA regulations, airworthiness requirements, and aviation maintenance documentation.
• Proven financial and commercial sense, including cost forecasting and asset lifecycle analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical condition, performance, and lifecycle management of the engine leasing portfolio.
• Develop strategies to maximize engine utilization, reliability, and asset value.
• Lead technical due diligence for acquisitions, leasing transactions, and portfolio evaluations.
• Coordinate with customers, lessors, lessees, MROs, and consultants to resolve discrepancies and minimize delays.
• Manage engine induction, lease commencement, returns, and redelivery processes.
