Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience with a strong public accounting foundation.
• Experience with technical accounting in private equity or alternative investments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 946 and ASC 820.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with fund accounting, finance teams, third-party administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to analyze and structure complex transactions
• Research and document technical accounting positions related to fund operations and corporate structures
• Develop and enhance accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Monitor emerging accounting standards and assess impacts across the alternative investment platform
• Review financial statements and regulatory filings for compliance and accuracy
• Support SOX controls and strengthen the technical accounting control environment
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on accounting strategy and process improvements

This is a highly visible role supporting the accounting strategy behind complex fund structures and investment products. Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with fund accounting, finance teams, third-party administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to analyze and structure complex transactions
• Research and document technical accounting positions related to fund operations and corporate structures
• Develop and enhance accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Monitor emerging accounting standards and assess impacts across the alternative investment platform
• Review financial statements and regulatory filings for compliance and accuracy

Ideal Background:
