Job summary

Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Fund Finance team, overseeing fund accounting, NAV reporting, and regulatory filings for a large-scale open-ended private infrastructure fund.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, external providers, and auditors, driving process improvements and leading a cross-functional finance group. Strong public accounting and private fund experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fund accounting and financial services, including complex NAV calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and review team outputs.
  • Experience supporting private funds, alternative investments, or similar structures.
  • CPA is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day fund accounting, NAV reporting, and quarterly close activities.
  • Review capital activity, management fee calculations, incentive allocations, and investor reporting.
  • Partner with auditors during the audit process and oversee SOX control activities.
  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Monitor fund liquidity, subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and treasury activities.
  • Prepare technical accounting memoranda for new transactions and evolving guidance.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, and Investor Relations.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members and drive process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, and efficiency.

A leading global alternative investment manager is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Fund Finance team supporting a large-scale open-ended private infrastructure fund. This highly visible role is responsible for overseeing fund accounting, financial reporting, SEC reporting, and operational activities while partnering with senior leadership, external service providers, and auditors.

The AVP will play a key role in managing complex fund structures, reviewing accounting matters, overseeing NAV reporting, supporting liquidity management, and driving process improvements. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a combination of public accounting and private fund experience who are looking to take on a leadership role within one of the industry\'s premier investment platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day fund accounting, NAV reporting, and quarterly close activities.

  • Partner with internal and external auditors throughout the audit process and oversee SOX control activities.
  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects across the finance organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 3–7 years of experience combining public accounting and financial services, with Big 4/Big 8 experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting public private equity funds, alternative investment funds, or other complex investment vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC reporting, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Experience with fund accounting, NAV reporting, and complex fund structures.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
