Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
  • 2–5 years of U.S. GAAP and/or statutory accounting and reporting experience.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting information clearly.
  • Experience with alternative investments or SOX controls is a plus.

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Review investment transactions and perform loan pricing analysis.
  • Support accounting for real estate-owned investments and other alternative assets.
  • Research accounting guidance and evaluate its impact on current processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, controls, and reporting.
  • Assist with accounting policy implementation and business process redesign initiatives.
  • Maintain SOX control documentation and help evaluate potential control deficiencies.
  • Partner with Finance and other departments to support investment strategies and business initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects and other accounting responsibilities as needed.

Position Overview
