Job summary

NWN is seeking a Senior Tax Executive to shape and drive the company’s tax strategy across federal, state, local, telecommunications, and indirect tax areas.

You will report to the CFO and collaborate with executive leadership and private equity sponsors, overseeing compliance, planning, and risk management while guiding tax strategy for growth initiatives and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in lead tax roles with senior leadership.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred; PE exposure valued.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with tax strategy, compliance, planning and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise tax strategy aligned with corporate objectives and growth goals.
• Lead tax workstreams for acquisitions, including due diligence, structuring, and integration.
• Establish tax risk governance, internal controls, and audit defense frameworks.
