What you will do

The Vice President of Sustainability will lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies aligned with our company's mission, values, and long-term goals. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote sustainable practices, managing ESG reporting, and engaging stakeholders to advance our sustainability commitments.

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy addressing ESG factors and stakeholder needs.
  2. Integrate sustainable practices into daily operations and decision-making processes.
  3. Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor progress and success.
  4. Stay informed about industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  5. Manage ESG reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  6. Identify partnership opportunities to support sustainability initiatives.
  7. Communicate sustainability efforts and progress to stakeholders including the Board, investors, customers, and employees.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and reporting frameworks like GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of ESG factors and their business impacts.
  • Experience fostering ESG principles in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with scope emissions data analysis and reporting, including collaboration with external measurement providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-cultural teams.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports.
