We’re looking for a smart, driven individual to lead our Strategic Finance (FP&A) function. You will have a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally and use quantitative insights to drive better decision-making across the organization. Strategic Finance owns the company’s budget and financial planning processes, performs financial analyses, provides financial guidance to business partners, and invests strategically to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and interpersonal skills for collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Maintain financial models and forecasts to guide Affirm’s long-term financial health, advising on growth, hiring, spending, and strategic projects.
• Oversee loan volume forecasting, compensation planning, and identify growth opportunities in lending and new products.
• Drive annual and monthly financial planning aligned with technology and commercial roadmaps.
• Provide budget guidance to senior executives to ensure strategic investments and desired outcomes.
• Develop key metrics to support hiring, expansion, and profitability goals.
• Manage a high-performance, cross-functional team.
• Develop programs for tracking and managing budgets with senior division leaders.

What We Look For

• 15+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
• FP&A experience at a late-stage private or public company.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry or high-growth environment.
• Understanding of lending P&L and debt capital markets.
• Strong management skills with a passion for mentoring.
• Ability to think creatively and critically in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with leadership and board members.

Compensation

Base Pay Grade: W
Equity Grade: 24
Annual salary range: $340,000 - $380,000. Total compensation may include equity, stipends, and benefits. Note: Visa sponsorship is not available.
