Overview

Our client, a leading Project Finance bank, is keen to hire a VP Structured Finance who will focus on Latin America, covering Power, Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrials. The team works across Project Finance, Debt Advisory, and M&A. The hire will help manage Associates and Senior Associates, take ownership of projects with a high degree of autonomy, and support origination efforts. The ideal candidate will have Project Finance experience, be fluent in Spanish, and be interested in gaining or expanding their advisory expertise. With a strong pipeline of transactions, this role is a key hire for the team and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

THE ROLE

• Lead deal teams in the execution of advisory and financing transactions across Power, Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrials in Latin America.
• Work closely with senior bankers to support origination efforts while focusing on the execution and delivery of transactions.
• Manage day-to-day transaction activities, including debt sizing, valuation analysis, due diligence coordination, and timeline management.
• Oversee the development and review of complex financial models to support transaction analysis and structuring.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Associates and Senior Associates, ensuring high-quality work and professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project finance and advisory; Latin American coverage is preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to work autonomously.
• Demonstrated experience managing transaction execution from start to finish.
