Qualifications

• Experience with renewable energy, power, utilities, or infrastructure transactions preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Understanding of project finance structures and key renewable energy project economics.
• Experience with debt and/or tax equity financing is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a transaction-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance detailed project finance models for renewable energy projects.
• Evaluate project economics, returns, capital requirements, and financing structures.
• Support the execution of debt, tax equity, and other project-level financing transactions.
• Assist with lender and investor due diligence, financial materials, and transaction documentation.
• Analyze financing proposals, term sheets, and capital structures.
• Support financial close processes and coordinate with internal teams, lenders, investors, advisors, and other counterparties.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis around key project assumptions.
• Evaluate new development and investment opportunities across the renewable energy portfolio.
• Support portfolio-level financial analysis and strategic initiatives as needed.

A growing renewable energy platform is seeking a Project Finance Associate to join its finance team and support the development, financing, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects across the United States. The company develops, owns, and operates a diversified portfolio of clean energy assets and is continuing to expand its project pipeline.

The Associate will play a key role in evaluating project economics, structuring financing solutions, and supporting transactions across the company’s renewable energy portfolio. This individual will work closely with senior members of the finance team as well as development, commercial, engineering, legal, and accounting teams.
