Job summary

Meet Life Sciences is seeking a Program Team Lead at VP level to provide strategic and operational leadership across development programs, from preclinical candidate selection through clinical development.

The consultant will work closely with the CMO and senior functional leaders to drive program strategy, ensure cross-functional alignment, and accelerate key milestones across the drug development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences and/or MBA.
• 15+ years biopharma experience with 5+ years leading cross-functional programs.
• Direct IND experience and regulatory coordination.
• Strong oncology drug development background.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional Program Team meetings (Biology, Translational, Regulatory, Clinical Development, Clinical Ops, PK/PD, CMC)
• Shape program strategy and translate it into clear, executable development plans
• Guide development and refinement of Product Development and Integrated Clinical Development Plans
• Identify and proactively mitigate scientific, operational, and regulatory risks
• Support governance preparation and executive-level communications
• Contribute to IND strategy and broader regulatory planning (CTA, NDA/BLA, MAA)
• Provide strategic input into clinical budgets with awareness of CMC and operational considerations

We’re partnering with a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing innovative targeted therapies in oncology and are seeking a Program Team Lead (VP level) to provide strategic and operational leadership across one or more development programs.

This is a high-impact role supporting assets from preclinical candidate selection through clinical development. The consultant will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and senior functional leaders to drive program strategy, ensure cross-functional alignment, and accelerate key milestones across the drug development lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

• Confident facilitator with strong executive presence and ability to align matrixed teams
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-performance environments7
